Everything was fine until I tried to put that red icing on.

At about 3am tonight/tomorrow my girlfriend will come home from tour.

Brother Nick came to town on tour with his friends Whalebones.

It was at the Echo Curio. Hotdog was there.

Also, remember how Nick lived in LA in the beginning of the Summer? I am pretty sure he doesn't live here now.

Dinner after, right next door.

Little Baby Nicky and Dallas.

Neuvia's on Sunset has the best tortillas ever, and they probably only got a 'C' grade because there is so much mineral enriched dirt in thier spinach.

I drank some radish beet juice called 'El Vampiro'. Wow!

Lovers, wedding bells.

And now, today, Aaron is in Japan. Hi buddy!

So I really wasn't expecting the amazing reaction I got when I made a plea for help getting a new camera, but here it is a few days later and I have a beautiful new one. I want to extend a sincere thank you to the following folks -
Benjamin Lokiec
Kyle Davis
Michelle McNamara
Jessica Charleton
Stephanie Donnelly
I would also like to thank Raymi who linked my tale of woe and is super cool for helping me out and being so supportive.
Thank you, everybody.

There is a rumour that Lucky Dragons are also playing that thing in Chinatown tonight.

Maybe they will play the butt bongo?

So for the first time in some years I am without a digital camera.

It actually broke in April, but I have been able to use it with the aid of a toothpick the last few months.

I cannot afford a new camera right now, so I will shoot a lot of film and maybe write more.

I can't let the lack of a digital hinder me. You know what they say - It is a poor workman who blames his tools.

However, if you are a rich philanthropist who wants to HELP me get a new camera, I am willing to accept it.

Paypal any amount, large or small to teenageteardrops@gmail.com.

I promise to put every penny recieved towards a real beauty!

Giorgio, a dog we met in the park.

There was a guy parked up on the street with a big truck playing his favorite songs at full volume while staring at us. Aerosmith 'Dude Looks Like A Lady' and Pink Floyd 'Money' were just the beggining of his musical attack.

More park beasts walking on by.

OK, west coasters, Mika Miko is on tour.

Anacortes, Chico, Eureka. All the hot spots are getting hit.

Jenna will be accepting gifts of Canada Dry ginger ale, Bichon puppies and pure silk garments.

So consider that as your good deed for the day. Gift giving.

Giorgio, a dog we met in the park.

Sunday at the gallery, an intimate premiere. Make sure and RSVP if you want to come.

Cundo and Cosime.

A family affair down in Chinatown.

Jackson read us a story.

Christina Billotte's new , as yet unnamed band played.

And they amazed all lucky enough to witness.

"The 80's were the dark ages."
"Do you believe in God? My friend Ron from Silverlake says there is no God."
"I'd like to hold a pretty girl close."
"You ever try amyl nitrate?"

"Hey Man, give me some change. Hey Man, you're looking pretty skinny."
"I used to be gay."
"I should be ashamed of myself."
"Airplane glue used to give a good high, but then they added something to it that makes you sick. Why would they do that?"

Thanks to everyone who came to the show last night. It was really fun to have it on a weekday, and I think we will do more of that in the future. It trims the fat, no doubt.

John Weise made us a list of his all time greatest slasher films. He put all of his stuff in storage yesterday and is about to embark on a one year solo tour. Watch out, World!

I caught this guy stealing trash.

And finally, new gallery rule : Bring your own chair.
This is my favorite video. This guy is a hero to me.

Just fixing up the old Baloon Saloon.

Got to get those walls crispy!

Because we got a show tonight!

We would have finished hanging last night but the lady upstairs started to stomp in protest! She is such a hateful woman!

It is the calm before the storm.

See you tonight.

We have a show tomorrow night at the gallery, so everyone is down there pitching in for the set up.

Use the force.

'Roo wonton soup.

Aaron took this picture for this.

It's a group show.

Brian Chippendale, Matthew Thurber, Carlos Gonzales and CF.

Tomorrow night at 7PM. 1547 Echo Park Ave.

And you know Luke and Sarah will be there, so bring your new Lucky Dragons record and get that sucker autographed!

Important mid month group show at the gallery this Wednesday. These damn kids today!

The Gents Of Desire held a shoe drive/BBQ.

Alex Two Tone.

Curtis Washington looking good after his coma.

Tuffy in a tiny Fred Perry.

Sylvie and Aaron.

Jenna and I were there to play the records. Our direction: Sad oldies and soul and dub.

Gents.

Exclusive, elusive, and rarely seen together.

This is like a picture of a Yeti, or Custer's ghost, or the Loch Ness Monster.

Then we put on the dub records and the kids got the mics and got to toasting.

Ring The Alarm!

Boys Of Summer.

Rita.

Mr. Valentino, thanks for having us.

All Sunday long at the beach. Two beaches in one day, in fact. And if you are looking for fashion inspiration, my girlfriend will be bringing it direct daily. How lucky are you?

Every year on the 4th of July, Echo Park becomes an open air firework market and warzone.

And by nightfall there are a thousand people surrounding the lake trying their best to light palm trees on fire with Roman Candles.

And if a palm tree is set alight, the whole crowd gasps in excitement and the fire department comes.

So fun, so fun.

Three hours of explosive whoosh just missing your head.

Casual observer.

What a mess!

Still shooting at the trees. The flaming palm was not to be this year.

Silver Dags.

Scott was the star of the night.

Earlier in the day he had been attacked by two dogs, and the smallest one bit him right on the nose. Here he is seen bloodied and ecstatic, lighting bottle rockets clenched between his teeth.

Around 10pm the police arrive and clear the park.

David Stone and David Scheid.

Young Coconut.

How big?

Sylvie bought a new hat.

It was an afternoon hang down at the Ooga Booga BBQ.

New tattoos.

On Brian Roettinger.

Sunny Summer day with friends.

It's the thing to do.

Says my Dad, Gary Dewitt -
"I hope he was in agony until he blew his last dying breath out of his shriveled white asshole. That old racist fucker."

Dressed.

On this day Mike Semple became a married man.

Pete in his western wear.

And Rene, all smiles.

The pink dress.

Mike waiting for his bride, Jenny Cho.

And then Minnie Driver sang an original song.

Wedded. Congratulations!

And then Blackie showed up.

Kramer and his best friend.

We had a reading at the gallery.

It was a well attended success!

"Big Babyman!"

A handsome man.

DSS, blowin' some smoke on it.

If you are ever lucky enough to attend a Sads silent show, I will tell you the best way to experience it. Come early, watch the first set as you're meant to. Sit down and wear the headphones and take the whole trip. For the second set, if space permits, circle the room like a shark without headphones in a silent room filled with near complete silence save for the singing. That's the way to do it.
