It happened.

Final touches, day of the show. Luke painting the perfect sign.

The night before, the power got shut off. Galleries need power. They need lights. So when I got the call that the power was shut off I became very nervous and sweaty, sweaty like magic. I suddenly realized that neither David or I had ever bothered to switch the DWP into our name. I had nightmares about power all night, I woke up every 30 minutes or so worried about it, but by noon the day of the show the power was back on. Whew!

I'm crazy about it.

The two trays of mini cupcakes came courtesy of Delilah's Bakery. Fresh baked! Thanks Delilah's! The beer came from the beer store.

Ready?

And start.

These guys.

Camille got that manicure she needed.

The Times / The Rockers.

Crowded fast.

Running with a fast crowd.

Luke and Sarah from Sumi Ink Club are also magical music makers called Lucky Dragons. They started setting up on the sidewalk.

Randy and Becca and the new Leica.

Lucky Dragons.

Actual pictures of real magic.

MAGIC IS REAL.

Jumping Jacks.

Thank you to everyone who came, thank you to Sumi Ink Club and Lucky Dragons for trusting us to do this right.

There are eight months left in 2008, eight more shows to do.

So let's go.
