Tuesday night, hanging the show for awhile and then running down to The Smell.

To see the debut of Small Breed!

Kyle Mabson.

Jenna Thornhill and Robert Wolfe. This is Small Breed.

How to describe this major new force? Shredding?

Foreboding?

Channeling the ancient spirits of James Brown and Chaka Khan?

Let's stick with indescribable for now, and just say that if you came late and missed it you are bummed.

Throw DSS in the car and run back to the gallery.

The show was starting to take shape. When Luke started painting the inside of the front window I started getting internally excited, shaking like a bowl of soup, yeah.

I was supossed to be helping, but mostly I was just hanging around, getting jazzed.

A lot of scissors and levels.

And a lot of interesting quips from David Kramer, who is turning into quite the comedian. Word is he may be opening an open mic comedy venue on Fairfax in the old Nova Express locale. Catch his act if you can!

And then DSS and I headed back to The Smell to see Abe Vigoda play their first show in a while, with Reggie drumming with one arm only.

And it was thee good shit.

David got hisself a velvet jacket.

Abe Vidancers.

And look at how chisled Juan is looking.

Spent.

There goes the one armer now!
