In the morning I went to Joe's, my favorite place to get coffee in Austin, and met up with my life partner Aaron. He was there premiering his new movie, 'Beautiful Losers'! Theatrical release coming in June.

Camille arrived from LA, Nick Letson arrived from Tucson.

I went over to watch Bryan sign copies of 'Punk Is Dead' and ran into The Spits.

He signed 250 books in 45 minutes!

Holy shit, Seymour Stein waited in line for a book!

Congratulations you old kodiak!

You've earned that beer!

Beer glow.

Walked over to some other thing that had a swimming pool, saw Lo there. She had some weird makeup on.

Hotdog!

Aaron never gets hot.

I had the unexpected pleasure of running into the great Gabe Kerbrat. All man.

Camille and I took a pedicab back across town.

To see Mika Miko play what I think was their 7th show in two days.

Saxophone fish.

Brittney w/ her doppleganger.

I met this radical dude, Russell Etchen, at Mrs. Beas, arguably the best place to hang in Austin. He and I were formally only internet friends, and I am pleased to have met him in human form. He runs the great store Domy Books in Houston, and is about to open another in Austin. He is making sure that the people of Texas can get all that good stuff!

Other fine humans.

Mrs Bea's parking lot.

Mrs. Bea's dancefloor.

Killers.

Another pedicab ride.

To the party on the pedestrian bridge where No Age, Fucked Up and Brutal Knights were playing.

It was way too nuts crowded, the bridge was moving like an earthquake, it was like 3am.

Bryan was happy as a king. Another 100 books went out to the kids.

Spunt's glow.

Gymnasts.

Men in love.

4am. Let's go to bed.
