The Sads have been rehearsing at the Choke Motorcycle Shop.

So this isn't some kind of set. This is a natural habitat.

They sound incredible.

The day got me thinking about the idea of working on something until it becomes fully realized.

I love to watch my friends, who I admire, practice anything. I love to watch things evolve. You can't predict how they will evolve either, because the thing, whatever it is, takes on a life of it's own.

And this goes for everything, from music, to painting, to relationships. Everything evolves when it's practiced.

I thought about this in all areas of my own life.

Because I don't feel fully realized in any area.

Does that sound depressing? I don't think it does.

I think it's what subconciously drives me. The idea that practice will get me closer to being the best person I can be, and that practice is an everyday thing, and it should be exciting because what you think you will find and what you will find are seperate and unpredictable.

Of course you can never get there. Hopefully you never will anyway. Wouldn't that be boring? To peak and to be able to go no further? At that point you may as well take the big sleep.

So I will continue to surround myself with people who I admire, and people who struggle everyday to find a fully realized life.

Because inspiration is endlessly exciting, and you find it in work and practice and imagination. You find it everywhere if you pay attention.

So pay attention.
