Nathan Thelen! Home from tour! I went over to his house as his band and my brother's are here for a couple of days. I picked up Baby Brother Nick and took him out to see Mika Miko and No Age.

I had to take a picture of this awesome kid in his homemade Youth Attack shirt.

No Agers.

Get hurt.

It was total full moon fever last night. Upsidedown cars, frantic people everywhere, fights aplenty. Inspiration was also plentiful and I kept getting my mind good and blown.

Mika Miko, holy shit. They kicked me in the head!

Go ahead. Be the greatest thing in the world. Why not?

It is so inspiring in this town right now. Jaded is not happening at all.

At least not here anyway. Not in this community.

And aren't you sick of cynical/jaded art/music culture anyway? Sure you are. It sucks.

More saxaphone in 2007.

People want to go crazy. They do.

This night could have ended and been perfect as it was, but Mika Miko, No Age and Abe Vigoda decided to play at the Alameda Warehouse after midnight and we got some street tacos and went down there.

It's Rene and Bryan! Old dogs out late!

Oh my god. Abe Vigoda played and the night got that much better. They are running some serious Lagos Chop Up undercurrents. So so good.

It was a positive chaos pile everywhere you looked.

Jenna brought me a beer to my perch above.

I let her know that I don't drink.

And like I said earlier, go ahead. Be great. Be better than that. Go ahead.

Oh Mika Miko again! Danger all around!

It was all so close to falling apart.

And it was an entire night overflowing with some of the best stuff I have seen in a long time.
