Oh, It Is A Fragrant World

Small Breed played their final show at The Smell last night.

Bob and Reichart's Island.

I can stand in front of any jury and proudly and honestly say I attended every Small Breed show.

It's nice to have Robert back in town for a minute, but he is leaving us for real to take care of his grandmother in the Pacific Northwest.

We will have to learn to live without his delicate stick handling.

And just like that it was over. Dust.

Small Breed is dead. Long live Small Breed.

You Rotten Son Of A Bitch

Rich Dad / Poor Dad

Brian Roettinger had his opening at Hope last night. I consider it a success on every level.

Most importantly, I had a great time.

I feel like Summer hasn't ever really started this year and that it never gets truly hot.

To me that is good.

A most beautiful man, that Jimmy Joliff.

And I saw Anton, which I hadn't in a while.

A wild dog.

Another wild dog.

Vidal and Robert. Robert (Bob) in town for just a moment, long enough to play the LAST Small Breed show tonight at The Smell.

Party shirt.

And I hadn't seen Reggie and Clare for sometime.

Just a couple of sweethearts these two.

Brian Roettinger, the man hisself.

Rara.

Blake and Nathan, Nathan Jones.

Kramer turned up after it got dark.

We left a little early, spirits high, having been there for nearly five hours. Once home there was a blood curdling, otherworldly scream outside our window.

Running outside to investigate, we saw it was only Johnson the Raccoon. We got him a chantilly cookie to eat and he settled right down.

Cherish Is The Word I Use To Remind Me

Let's Do It All Over Again

So long Maritime, so long New York.

Generation Chill

Look at how buff PJ got pretending to be a Marine on the TV.

Down the street we ran into Aviram Cohen, formerly of Soiled Mattress and the Springs and now of Silk Flowers.

Son of Schlomo and Zahava.

Channeling Rick Ta Life (on a horse).

We were going over to our friend Mary Manning's house.

To wish a happy birthday!

PJ describes wearing a prosthetic penis.

And Mary pretends not to notice that I am eating all of her strawberries.

A suprise culled from the back pocket.

Todd Selby came over and shot pics of us in our home for his book project.

The Ancients Have Long Studied The Movements Of These Heavenly Bodies

Maritime Magic Hour.

Mark and Thalia came over to bask in it.

Mark's opening at Hope in December is something that I am immeasurably excited about. Help him prepare buy purchasing some of his wares.

We walked over to IFC to see the NY premiere of Beautiful Losers, a movie that Aaron has been working on for something like five years. Congratulations buddy!

Nobody asked whether or not Aaron's beard in the movie was CGI. Somebody should have asked.

And look at this! I finally got to meet Amy and Adam! Two great interweb friends who I had never met in person. Hi guys!

Talking him through those old opening night jitters.

Later on at dinner I had the best dessert of my life. A chocolate chip bread pudding that I shall never forget. Wowee!

I Found A Solid Rock

Aaron taught a zine making class in New York.

When asked who would censor thier zines, the kids all said the government.

Teacher is my lesson done?

Flexible.
